Writer's Notebook

Here is a narrative written by Lachlan.

THE GALAXY FIGHT

One day at Earth, Captain Lachlan and Commander Daniel were going to the moon on
their spaceship. Everyone was cheering for them when they went aboard. In 10 seconds was the lift off and then they took off.
They were in space at last. Commander Daniel said, “Look, there’s the moon!” Captain Lachlan said, “We are landing.”
They got all their gear on and set off to explore the moon. Commander Daniel said,
“It is quiet, too quiet.”
In two seconds a blob of snot was all over Captain Lachlan. Commander Daniel heard a little sound coming over to him the sound came closer and….. A BIG Booger Monster came up behind Commander Daniel and gulped him in his throat. Captain Lachlan tried to get him out of the Booger Monster’s throat. Captain Lachlan swung on the booger monsters bits and pieces on its body and got Commander Daniel out and gently put him on the moon. Captain Lachlan got off the booger monster, into the ship and got out his rocket boosters and pushed as hard as he could to push the booger monster into the sun. And he did. He got back to the moon and got Commander Daniel and got back to Earth. They won awards from the Prime Minister. But a little blob of booger went on Captain Lachlan. Was the booger monster still alive?
