During Inquiry today, MSBA discussed our excursion to Preston Market next Thursday. The class had to think about all of the possible sandwich fillings they could think of and we listed them as a class. Then, the class had the task of designing a sandwich- it could be bread, a roll, a wrap or a salad plate. These designs will be used to plan a shopping list for each group at the Preston Market. It was great to hear children saying they are looking forward to trying new things.
Here are some of the designer sandwich ideas:
Ava- Pita bread, tomato paste, lettuce, cheese, pickled onions
Sophie- White bread, tasty cheese, chicken and kabana
Jacob- White roll, cheddar cheese, tomato, margarine, ham, chicken, kabana and cucumber
Bridgette- Avocado, beetroot, white bread roll, alfalfa and smoked salmon
Nicholas- White bread, Nuttelex, hot salami, olives, lettuce and tomato
Mack- White bread, butter, lettuce, ham, cheese and tomato
Jarrod- Salad Plate- kabana, tomato, salt and pepper, celery, asparagus and dinner roll
Brendan- Wrap- cucumber, carrot and celery
Jake- Wrap- roast lamb, pepper, salt, cheese and natural yogurt
Rhylee- White bread, butter, ham, carrot, lettuce and mayonnaise
Ally- Wholegrain bread, butter, ham, cucumber and tomato
Natalie- White roll, chicken, lettuce, mayonnaise and butter
Brianna- Croissant, mayonnaise, cucumber, chicken
Lachlan- White roll, tasty cheese, tuna, kabana, margarine
Matt- White roll, salami, smoked salmon, chicken, cucumber and lemon
Daniel- Wrap, ham, pineapple, swiss cheese, tomato, carrot and mayonnaise
Maddy- White roll, mayonnaise, cucumber, butter and chicken
Jarod- White bread, lettuce, ham, olives, salami, chicken and butter
Josh- White roll, cheese, lettuce, ham, onion and tomato
Kate- Salad plate, cheese, cucumber, carrot, lettuce, chicken and a dinner roll

Jordan- White bread, carrot, butter and tasty cheese
Mika- Wholegrain bread, lettuce, beetroot, feta cheese, capsicum and chicken
