Maths in MSBA

This week in Maths we have been looking at Place Value. Most of the children played a game called "Win 100" where they had to roll the dice and add that number on to try and reach 100. Later we changed the game to "Win 1000" and "Loose 100". Some children used the interactive version of it on the computer.

Our Mascot

The class voted on the mascots and came to the decision that "Y-kid" is our class mascot. He was made by two of the class members and is happy, fun, both a boy and girl and a Yarrambat student wearing the uniform!

Please remember to bring in a mascot to share with the class- we will be voting on a mascot to choose to represent the class for the year. So far, we have had a tiger, Leo the Lion, blue dog, Garfield and more interesting characters! Think about what your favourite mascot is to stay with our grade for the year!
